“Music is the center of my life. Puts the sugar on top of a good day, takes the edge off a bad.” -Hannah Bertram
A product of a musically talented family from Vanceburg Kentucky, Hannah Bertram spent her time singing at pageants, performing at church services on Sunday mornings and playing at various family events. Now, she can be found performing at various Open Mic Nights around Cincinnati. Her favorite memory was recent. On May 22, 2009, Hannah, along with other Habit’s Open Mic regulars, performed at the 20th Century Theatre in Oakley Square. Another fond memory she has is having the opportunity to sing “Happy Birthday” to her father at a pageant in Vanceburg with a band filled with high school friends of hers. Her love of music stems not only from the fact that she has been surrounded by it her entire life, but also because she believes music brings the world together. She hopes to learn the piano and to eventually write her own music. Someday, she would like to make a living performing her songs. Hannah is a graduate of Fredric’s Aveda Institute in Hyde Park and is now a licensed managing cosmetologist. To find out more about Hannah, check out the following link: Hannah Bertram on MySpace |
